Listen to God’s Call

If you listen close enough, you can hear a silent whisper. It’s the man above, directing you to where you need to be. He might seem to work in ways, that sometimes don’t make sense, but how can something so grand as his plans fit into the realm of what we already know – get it?

We need to be patient, we need to have faith – WE NEED TO TRUST THAT THERE IS A SEASON FOR EVERYTHING – a season for good and bad, a season for life and death, and seasons of both grace and pain that we can’t even begin to imagine.

See, this man above, you might not quite understand him because he works in unearthly ways. He has the ability to make the change of an hour in a matter of seconds – he can change a year, in matter of a day – he works on time scales impossible to us as humans – so why not give ourselves all to him, for he has plans for us. Plans to help us prosper and grow, plans greater than we will ever know.

I kind of get your point when you say, ‘why trust in something I don’t know?’ My answer to that is, you don’t know why you’re on this earth, yet you’re still on this earth – there’s a lot we don’t know about life, yet we still live. And we all know how great life can be, despite it’s challenges. But, life began with the belief that there was something more to continue on for.

I think all the greatest things in life, take a lot of faith without knowing. It’s on this journey of faith that you build character and develop your morals and values. This character shapes who you become in the future and without the resistance of fear telling you that what you believe in might not be true, you would never have developed the persistence and determination that is so duly needed to inspire others too.

My main point is, let go and let god for he has monumental power that can propel us into realms we never knew. It often requires growth on your part and a quiet patience without expectation, but entails a clear gratitude for the gifts we have right now.
