Learn your process and make it clear, because if you don’t direct yourself consciously to where you want to be, you will never feel the satisfaction of knowing that you intentionally put yourself in the place you needed to be.

Circumstances change, and situations happen in life that challenge us in unexpected ways, but here’s why this is a mark of good fortune…

The fact that we can experience unexpected challenges, means that when we face them and overcome them, we can grow in unexpected ways.

The fact that we can experience unexpected challenges, means that when we face them and overcome them, we can grow in unexpected ways. I don’t know about you, but that excites me to the core. It’s the realisation that our potential lies not in something finite, but in something limitless – it lies in something unknown because we have no idea how great we can be, unless we start doing the work, and continue to be patient in our process.

There’s a little seed of doubt that comes in when we start doing the work. It’s a resistance that stops a lot of people – it’s a resistance that tells us we might fail, we might make an embarrassment of ourselves. It’s at this point that you either overcome the fear and trust in your abilities or you choose to look around at others and compare your life to there’s – imagining you will never be anything close.

Comparison to others is the eye of all evil. When you find something that makes you buzz with energy – something that you’re passionate about, there’s never a need to compare. Everybody has a different role and will succeed at different things. Some people might become famous for the work they do – others may never be known for what they do – but those few that matter will know.

Sometimes it’s not about being known as someone that does something great, it’s more about letting your morals and values run freely and inspiring people like your children or your younger siblings. At the end of the day we’re here to love, and to a find a passion where that love shines through, for love will always bring us discipline – and discipline will help us on our process to guide us to the place we need to be.

Always,
