You might not understand what is happening to you right now and for what reason things seem to be stagnated. It happens in everyone’s life at some stage – sometimes multiple times, don’t feel like you’re alone.
It could be leading to a great sense of confusion for you and you have no direction that seems certain. Often the hardest things we face come to us at the times when we least expect them to – we feel as though things couldn’t get any worse and somehow they manage to do just that.
We are in this position right now for good reason. If you’re afraid, don’t worry, you’re exactly where you need to be right now. All the actions you’ve made, all the mistakes, all the triumphs – they were all necessary to bring you to this position you are now in. I imagine you have learned a lot on your journey so far and there will be many many more lessons to come. Let it inspire you on to greater things, don’t let fear control you.
When we feel as though we don’t measure up it can be easy to give up on all the things we value because we feel as though nothing we achieve will ever be good enough. What I want to tell you is this…
At the times when you feel most vulnerable – that is when the most rapid change can occur. Our vulnerability is a sign that we are challenging our comfort zones and this is the seed of growth. When we are vulnerable we often need structures to be put in place that will help us to stay on task because motivation can seem quite low. These structures can be things like a To-Do list, a daily schedule or a social group who works on tasks together. Whatever works best for you in these vulnerable times, cling to it and let it work for you.
Our vulnerability is a sign that we are challenging our comfort zones and this is the seed of growth.
Over time these structures will become natural pathways in your mind and you will be doing them without thinking. They will start to become tools for you. Your vulnerability will fade eventually, and might even come back from time to time. But, when it does return, you now know you have a set of tools at hand to counteract it. You go back to your daily to-do list or you immerse yourself with others who motivate you to get tasks done.
After setting yourself some structures I believe you will be achieving much more than you ever imagined and you will be making life so much easier for yourself.
And when you look back you will be proud of the achievements you have made to be the person you are right now. To come from the position of vulnerability that you were once in to now being a person who is independent in bringing themselves back on track – You’re a star!
The dots will join up and you will realise what all the confusion was for. It was your vulnerability telling you it’s time to grow!
Much love always,
